n8n Automation Engineer
About the role
We are looking for an automation-first engineer to join our build studio. At Voltair, we don't just build websites; we build intelligent, self-running systems. You will be responsible for designing and deploying complex n8n workflows that connect our clients' fragmented tech stacks into cohesive, automated pipelines.
This role is for someone who loves the 'plumbing' of the internet—connecting APIs, parsing data, and ensuring that information flows seamlessly between Slack, WhatsApp, CRMs, and custom databases without human intervention.
What you'll do
- Architect and maintain complex n8n workflows for enterprise clients
- Integrate disparate SaaS platforms (WhatsApp, Slack, Sheets, CRMs) via webhooks and APIs
- Build custom data transformation layers using JavaScript/TypeScript within n8n
- Monitor and optimize production automation pipelines for reliability and speed
- Troubleshoot API failures and edge cases in real-time
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of experience in backend development or automation engineering
- Deep, hands-on experience with n8n (or similar tools like Make/Zapier, but with a preference for code-first approaches)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for custom node development
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, Webhooks, and JSON data structures
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code for production-grade automation
